Learn about CFK's Renewable Energy, Culinary, and Hospitality programs Virtual events for career training programs on June 25 & 26

中国P站 (CFK) invites prospective students to learn about career training opportunities at two upcoming virtual events. A session focusing on the Engineering Technology- Renewable Energy Technician program will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 5:30 p.m. and a session focusing on the Culinary Management and Hospitality and Ecotourism Management programs will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m. The events will feature information about the curriculum, career opportunities, and student experiences for each program. Attendees will hear directly from faculty, academic leaders, current students, and/or recent alumni. A code to waive the $30 application fee will be provided. Registration for the events is required. Coldwell Banker Schmitt Charitable Foundation endows AJ Hally Marine Scholarship at CFK

中国P站 (CFK) Foundation received $32,500 from the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Charitable Foundation to establish a scholarship in memory of Arcenio John 鈥淎J鈥 Hally. This scholarship supports students who, like Hally, demonstrate a deep appreciation for the ocean, a commitment to environmental stewardship, and a drive to make a meaningful impact in their communities. By endowing the scholarship, a portion of the donation is invested, and its earnings will provide scholarship awards to students in perpetuity鈥攆orever memorializing Hally and supporting marine education and training

CFK Academy graduates inaugural class

中国P站 celebrated the first graduation of the CFK Academy on May 29 in the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the Key West Campus. The event was a milestone for the College鈥檚 tuition-free public charter high school, which opened in August 2023 and subsequently earned an 鈥淎鈥 grade from the Department of Education in its first year.

CFK English Professor Dr. Emily Schulten Weekley Receives Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for 2025-2026

Dr. Emily Schulten Weekley, an English professor at 中国P站, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award in Literature and Creative Writing for the 2025-2026 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.

CFK graduates 115 at 70th Commencement Ceremony

中国P站 held its seventieth Commencement Exercises for the spring class of 2025 on Thursday, May 8 in the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the Key West Campus. One hundred fifteen graduates donned blue and orange graduation attire to receive their respective diplomas for bachelor鈥檚 degrees, associate degrees, and certificates. Sixteen graduates were Dual Enrollment students, earning Associate in Arts degrees prior to their high school diplomas.

CFK scholarships available for fall semester

中国P站 encourages future and current students to apply for scholarships for the fall semester. There are more than 30 different opportunities available and more will be added as they are developed. Criteria for scholarships range widely to accommodate and assist a variety of students. Scholarship descriptions and criteria as well as applications can be accessed on the scholarship section of the College鈥檚 website at cfk.academicworks.com.

Tuga Clinic to close for summer

The Tuga Clinic will be closed for the summer beginning May 8 and re-opening on August 4.聽The re-open will include enhanced services including immunizations and school physicals.

CFK graduates Basic Law Enforcement Academy #92

中国P站 (CFK) held a graduation ceremony for Basic Law Enforcement Academy #92 on April 30 at the Key West Campus. Nine cadets successfully completed the 770-hour training program and, upon passing the State Officer Certification Exam, each will be eligible to become a Florida Law Enforcement Officer.

Learn about CFK's Construction Apprenticeships at virtual event

中国P站 (CFK) invites prospective students to learn about its Apprenticeships in Construction Technologies at a virtual information event on Wednesday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m. CFK is offering the electrical program in Key West and the Upper Keys this upcoming fall semester, which begins August 19. The deadline to apply is July 1.
